Saira is a 2014 graduate of UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, Saira gained experience in the family law arena, externing at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, interning with the Honorable Judge William Gonzalez, and clerking at a local family firm where she worked with divorce, custody, and bankruptcy clients. Upon admission to the Nevada State Bar, Saira accepted a position as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Frank P. Sullivan in the Family Division of the Eighth Judicial District, where she specialized in child abuse and neglect court.

Prior to law school, Saira graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. As an undergraduate student, Saira worked with the UNLV Office of Student Conduct, volunteering time to assist students in resolving academic and conduct violations. Saira also participated in extensive psychology research, and co-authored a publication studying relationships and human emotion.

Being a native to Las Vegas, Saira is heavily involved in local charities, sitting on the board of Masjid Ibrahim and regularly volunteering with interfaith events. She also attends as many Rebel games as possible, along with her husband and 2-year-old son.
