Ryan is a graduate of BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. While in law school, Ryan participated as an associate editor of the Journal of Public Law and received a John S. Welch Award for Outstanding Legal Writing. Ryan also certified as a mediator for the State of Utah during law school, volunteering his services at justice courts throughout the state and at the Family Justice Center in the city of Provo. Additionally, Ryan clerked at a local family law firm where he gained valuable experience working with clients to tackle the difficult issues arising from divorce.
Prior to law school, Ryan graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History and English from the University of Utah. Ryan spent much of his time at the university interning with multiple organizations including the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control in Washington, D.C., the Utah State Senate, and the juvenile court system in Salt Lake City.
During his time at Kelleher & Kelleher, Ryan has had many opportunities to hone his ability to litigate, including attending the AAML National Institute for Family Law Associates in Chicago, Illinois.
Ryan enjoys hiking and traveling. He has spent significant amounts of time in Spain, Colombia, and Argentina and speaks fluent Spanish as a result of his time there.
